ABOUT ME
I currently work for Walt Disney Parks & Resorts as Internal Communications Coordinator. In this role, I support the VP of Internal Communications for Parks and Resorts Worldwide on a variety of different projects.
Prior to my current role, I worked as an intern with The Walt Disney Company. Starting in January 2014, I worked for Disney Corporate as the HR Communication Undergraduate Associate, where I worked closely with the VP of HR Communication Strategy on a variety of projects, including employee value proposition work, employee engagement projects and event planning and logistics. Following my experience at Disney Corporate, I worked for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts as the Disneyland Resort Public Relations intern. In this role, I helped the Disneyland Resort PR team manage relationships with media, manage events, develop message points and media pitches, create press materials, and work with internal partners.
Prior to my time at Disney, I worked as a media relations intern for the CBS Network. At CBS, I learned about crisis communications during Big Brother's controversial 15th season, helped with the publicity and social media efforts that supported the network's shows, created written materials for CBS shows, and provided assistance during press events (most notably, the TCA Press Tour and afterparty).
I have also worked as an intern at Click Communications, an online public relations agency located in North Hollywood, and Outward Media, Inc., a multi-channel marketing data firm, where I created an interactive social media strategy that led to a 200 percent increase in brand awareness and online influence.
Born and raised in a suburb of Los Angeles, I graduated from USC's Annenberg School of Communications and Journalism with a degree in Public Relations and a minor in French. I am an alumna of USC's Overflow A Cappella and a big fan of famed a cappella group Straight No Chaser.
